On March 1st 2025, Alpha School, Porur, joyfully celebrated its Kindergarten Graduation Day. With radiant smiles and hearts full of excitement, our little graduates donned their caps and gowns, standing proudly against a beautifully adorned backdrop. Throughout the year, these young learners have flourished, growing not only in stature but also in confidence and enthusiasm. The event was graced by the esteemed chief guest, Mrs. Suba Robert, Founder of Little Stars Play School, who applauded the young graduates for their wonderful accomplishments. The celebration was enriched by lively performances. The students from LKG presented a vibrant welcome dance and a charming ramp walk, showcasing their dreams of what they aspire to become. UKG students added to the festive spirit with heartfelt songs, celebrating their journey and achievements. Remarkably, all roles, from the MC to the welcome speech and the activity report, were carried out by the KG students, reflecting their confidence and growth. A highlight of the event was the parent felicitation, where families expressed their appreciation for the school’s efforts in nurturing every child’s potential. The festival, dedicated to thanking the Sun, Mother Nature, and farm animals, provided a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to experience the richness of tradition. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, the little ones actively participated in the festivities. They relished the experience of preparing sweet Pongal, a symbolic dish of gratitude and abundance. The excitement continued with the traditional Uriyadi game, where laughter and cheers filled the air. *Orange Day Brings Freshness, Excitement, and Warmth* The KG students of Alpha School Porur (CBSE) celebrated Orange Day with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to familiarize the children with the colour orange, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. LKG students engaged in a creative activity by making paper collage pumpkins, while UKG students enjoyed a palm printing activity, creating colorful fish. Additionally, students brought their favouacrite orange objects and spoke about them, adding a personal touch to the celebration. The day was filled with fun and excitement, leaving the young students delighted. As artist Henri Matisse once said, “Creativity takes courage.” This Orange Day not only brightened the school but also encouraged the kids to express themselves creatively.

Our Chief Guest, Ms. Prasanna Jayasankar, Chief Welfare Inspector – Sports, Southern Railway, captivated the audience with her powerful message on the 4Ds – Desire, Dedication, Determination, and Discipline, sharing real-life experiences that left a lasting impact. We also had the proud presence of Mr. George John, Joint Director and Mrs. Ramani George, Dean of Alpha Group of Institutions, who added grace and value to the occasion. From the precision of the march past, the vibrant drill displays, and the awe-inspiring pyramid formation, to the thrilling track events, joyful fancy games, and proud prize distribution – every moment celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork! The young learners explored the timeless elegance of black and white through art and attire, making the day both visually striking and engaging. Our LKG students brought color to monochrome by carefully shading umbrellas, while the UKG children showcased their artistic skills by creating delightful black-and-white penguin masterpieces. The event provided a wonderful platform for students to express their creativity and appreciate the beauty of simplicity.
