Students applying for LKG to Class IX/XI will be required to attend an interview or entrance examination as part of the selection process.

Admission Decision

After the interview or entrance examination, the school will communicate the selection decision to parents.

Selection & Fee Payment

Parents of selected students will receive a selection form via email, which includes payment details (amount, mode of payment, and deadline).

AGE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS

To be eligible for admission, a student must have:

  • Successfully completed the previous grade from a recognized school.
  • Met the minimum age requirement for entry into the respective class:
Class Age
Nursery Age 2 years (on or before 31st May of the academic year).
JKG (Junior Kindergarten) Age 3 years (on or before 31st May).
SKG (Senior Kindergarten) Age 4 years (on or before 31st May).
  • For higher grades, the student must meet the school’s academic and age requirements.

Is the school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi?
Alpha School is affiliated up to senior secondary level to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Children from overseas’ schools are admitted in Alpha, subject to them passing the admission test conducted at the school. As Alpha follows tested teaching methodologies adopted globally, the transition of ward in the school is likely to be swift and stress less.
Yes for Classes Pre-KG, LKG and UKG. However, for other classes, genuine cases like relocation and transfer are considered.

Yes. The school transport manager would provide the details regarding the routes and timings.
Yes. Art, Instrumental Music, Dance, Football, Handball, Badminton, Volley ball, Table Tennis classes (based on registrations) are some of the activities.
For KG Classes, personal interaction session with the child along with the parent is required. For Class I, oral tests are conducted. For all other classes from Class II to IX & XI Entrance Tests in English, Maths, Science and Second Language are conducted.
Yes, we maintain a consistent coaching schedule across all levels, with a particular focus on board-exam students. Additionally, we have a dedicated special educator/ counsellor to support students with learning difficulties, providing personalized guidance to help them succeed.
Yes, students are assigned Homework regularly based on a schedule.
Yes, we offer co-curricular activities such as Physical Education, Art & Craft, Theatre, Music, Dance, and Value Education once a week for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. For students in Grades IX to XII, we provide Physical Education, Art & Craft, Theatre, and Value Education on a weekly basis. Apart from this, different club activities are conducted on Saturdays.
Yes, we have both indoor and outdoor play areas.
Students donate provisions during Christmas to support children and elders in orphanages and care homes. They also visit these places on special occasions, spreading joy through music, dance, and treats. On events like Humanitarian Day, students participate in donation drives, fostering empathy, kindness, and community service.
Parent-Teacher Meetings are held five times a year. Additionally, parents of kindergarten and primary students can meet teachers daily during dispersal.
